VETON

VETON’S MEMORIES OF ST.MICHAEL’S SCHOOL

My name is Veton and I am 11 years old. My birthday is on the 22nd of November also I was born in 1996.
My friends are all the people in the class but some of them can really go on my nerves and disturb me by blaming everything on ME. But after a few days it becomes ok and we are friends again but unfortunately it just starts all over AGAIN.
My favourite subjects are: Maths, Science, Sport, D.T, R.E, Art and Music. The clubs that I have been in are only: Drama, Football and singing. The performances that I have done so far in my life are The Tempest, Oliver Twist, Of the Terrifying Events of the Hamelin Estate and I am going to do Oliver Twist again this week.
There are some funny stories that I will like to tell you and I will begin by telling you what happened when I was chosen to do some actions for a song but terribly I had not noticed that they had made some already but it was too late I had already started doing the most ridiculous moves ever. Well that is not all, the other reason is why I was so embarrassed was because my head teacher was right in front of me and then I hear every person in the room laugh like a stamped of animals.
The other one is when I went to Isle of White with my class me and my friend went outside at night and we banged on the girls door and we said “GO TO SLEEP NOW!!!!!,” and the girls got so scared that they started crying.
We were laughing so much but actually I and my friend were just lying and it was the security guard who did it and still the girls think it was us.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!.
I am going to miss everyone in the school except from some of my friends that will be coming to my secondary school Haverstock.

Sabihas memories of St.Michael school

Sabihas memories of St.Michael

This Sabiha’s blog you’re going to be reading. I am 11 years old and I am in year six. I arrived at St.michaels in the year 2000 (basically I started at the year reception).

My favourite year at St.Michael would have to the year reception. Because then the learning was easy and it was fun, fun, fun!! Because my teacher Miss. Barren had a think called the marble jar and she said that when it was full we could have as party and guess what, we did!

But when I come to think of it I quite like year six as well, so it’s the first and last year that I liked that most.

My class are very friendly and funny well not that friendly but certainly funny. The boys are crazy and the girls, well the girls their just kind. But behind the mask were as bad as the boys.

We used to do performances every year one was the original nativity play and in the summer we do any other play, this year we played “the terrifying events on the Hamelin estate”

I am going to Maria fiddellis with Jade. But at least I am going with one of my friends so that is a good thing. But I’ll see my friends somewhere someday (hopefully) I will keep in touch with my friends.

I will miss all my friends especially Rasheada, Tahmina, Hana,Lam,George,Anisa,Erblina... oh should I go on. If jades wondering why I didn’t mange to write down her it’s because I’m going to the same secondary school as her!

I will miss everyone at St.Michaels and I will miss their unique personality.I will miss you all

Mr Williamson's memories

Memories of St Michael’s 2008 – by Year 6’s class teacher!
Hello! I am Mr Williamson and I have been Year 6’s class teacher during this, their final year in primary school. I was also lucky enough to be their teacher when they were in Year 4, so I reckon I know them all pretty well by now!
Here are some of the things I remember most about this funny, clever (and noisy!) group of girls and boys:
The International Festival, 2006: we celebrated Asia so our class studied China. We learned a Chinese song and dance which was taught to us by some visiting Chinese students. It was very fast and difficult to sing but I think I was the only one never to learn the words off by heart. We performed it in front of the rest of the school one afternoon in the car park – how embarrassing!
The Tempest: we joined some other schools in Camden to study and perform extracts from a Shakespeare play at the end of Year 4. Our play was ‘The Tempest.’ We had great fun reading it in class and then doing the performance at Haverstock school. The masks we made were great.
Old friends: some people have left since I first knew you all in Year 4 – Tayo, Omran, Mujeb and Antonia are just a few names that come to mind. I wonder how they are all doing?
Geography: do you remember our Chembakolli tea party? Miss Kwao and Mrs Syeda came and had a cup of real Indian tea in the classroom whilst you showed them what you had learned about Chembakolli and Tamil Nadu.
The Isle of Wight: some of you joined Mrs Trigg, Mr Anderson and me for a weekend in Little Canada in September 2007. Here are some things that made me laugh – when people were getting excited because they thought we were going on a fairy (we actually travelled on a ferry); the boys’ cabins being MUCH neater and tidier than the girls’; the look on some of your faces when you were at the top of the Giant Swing; and Nosasu and Tennae looking really miserable at having to queue up each day for separate meals because of their nut allergies.
The Unicorn Theatre: a really fantastic new building where we performed the play about the Pied Piper that was specially written for us by Philip Osment. Look out for Philip’s name when you go to see other plays in the future.
Our classroom in Year 6: right at the top of the stairs, where most of the boys used to come in after lunch boiling hot, red in the face and dripping with sweat (Habib, Nosasu, Veton and Liam to name just a few!)
I’ve run out of space … aaarghh! I hope you’ll all read this blog in years to come and have as many fond memories of your time at St Michael’s as I do. Good luck and goodbye (for now!)

Tahmina's Memories Of St.Michael's

My Memories of St.Michael’s……..

My name is Tahmina and I am 10 years old.

My birthday is on August 13th and I am in Year 6. I am going to South Camden in September and I will miss all of my friends. Being at St.Michael's was OK and fun because my friends were always there for me. I have been in St. Michael's every since…. Nursery

Friends

My friends are so funny and such a laugh and if I had to choose new friends I wouldn’t because I’m happy with the friends I have right now.

My Crazy Class My class are the best and are VERY crazy. The boys are sometimes annoying but boys have to be annoying or they won’t be boys. And the girls are so much fun and nice to. I would never want to change my class.

Favourite Subjects

Well I don’t really have a favourite subject. I like literacy a bit and I’m not really a fan of maths.

Performances

I and my class just did a play called the Terrifying Events on the Hamelin Estate and it was good. We performed the play at the Unicorn Theatre. And I enjoyed doing the play with my class.

What I’ll Miss When I Go To Secondary

I’ll miss my class of course and my friends. And I will miss the teachers and teaching assistants like Miss Gordon. I’m looking forward to going to secondary but there’s the scary bit about you being bullied by the older students but you might not be bullied.

Miss Gordon's memories of St Micheal's

Working at St Michael’s C of E School

Hello! I’m Miss Gordon, I’m currently working at St Michael’s School with Mr Williamson’s year six class.

My first day at St Michael’s commenced with an introduction to the staff, the school and most of the children in year six. They came across as very polite and welcoming! I am very impressed with the school policies promoting equality and various great morals.
The first trip I went on with year Six was to Greenwich, travelling by a ferry in the cool breeze of the day. The class took many pictures on the way, some of which were wonderful shots. I wonder if anyone will be a photographer from this class?
My favourite trip was to the Houses of Parliament; as it gave the class the opportunity to explore the important rooms (House of Commons and the House of Lords) where bills are discussed. It also gave them a chance to create ideas for new bills by acting as MPs who were campaigning to become the new ruling political party. The class had some fantastic ideas for their campaign and came up with some great names such as the TEA Party (Total Equality Association).

Year Six did an amazing performance at the Unicorn Theatre which was the first performance of the play ‘Of the Terrifying Events of the Hamelin Estate’. We all worked hard to put it together, Mr Williamson, the Unicorn Theatre and I were very proud with the outcome. Well done!
I will never forget the hilarious lines that characters such as the Pied Piper and the bullies bellowed! Keep up the great acting skills, and don't forget us when you're famous....

I wish you all the very best for the future in your new schools, you will be missed.

Amina's memories of St.Michael's

My memories of St.Michael’s
My name is Amina and I am a yr 6 student. My school trips were really enjoyable like when me and my class in yr 2 we went to south end and played on the beach. In Reception we went to look for Winnie the pooh but sadly he wasn’t there and found out that he’d gone to holiday. But we got to go inside the hole in the tree which was really fun.
Also in yr 6 we went on lots of exciting trips like Greenwich, Unicorn Theatre, Regents Park and more. My friends here are kind and understanding and funny some times. I had great fun playing with them during the years at St.Michael’s and I learnt a lot during my time in my school.
My favourite subjects are p.e, art, music and more. I really enjoyed being in this school and I think that I have made a right choice of choosing this school. This school taught me a lot of things I can’t forget it and they taught me to make the right choices in life and in situations.
The performances we done were the tempest and of the terrifying events on the Hamelin estate which was really really fun. I was at first quiet scared and not confident of performing on the big stage but it wasn’t as big as I thought it would be it was bit small.
The teachers were good and to be honest I did enjoy a lot working with the teachers I like a lot and I will miss them. In Reception I had Mrs Barren and in yr 1 I had Mrs Preston and in yr 2 I had again Mrs Preston. In yr 3 I had Miss mcbrayan and then in yr 4 I had Miss Kwao and in yr 5 I had Mrs Bernstein and finally in yr 6 I have Mr.willamson.
I will miss my friends and my teachers at this school and the thing I won’t miss is well nothing. My feelings were at the very first day at St.Michael’s sad and I was crying because I didn’t want to come to school but I had to. The last day of my primary school is happy and I can’t wait to go to secondary.
Bye everyone in yr 6 I will miss you. byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

A New Beginning

Another story is when I told the cabin it was 6:00am just to make them shut up and they believed me and they all showered and got ready. And then one of the night security people said it was 1:30am.
